Welcome to Jasper Wireless, Inc. ("Jasper Wireless). Your privacy is important to us. We have created this policy, which explains what personally identifiable information (“PII”) we collect from you on our corporate Web site (the "Site") and how we use and disclose that information. Also, this Policy covers Jasper Wireless's treatment of any PII that our business partners share with us. By visiting the Site, submitting information, or using any of our products or services, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.

The following principles govern this web-site owned and operated by Jasper Wireless. These principles do not govern web-sites of other parties to which we may provide only links because Jasper Wireless is not responsible, and cannot control the privacy practices or content of those Sites.

Information Collection and Use

Jasper Wireless collects PII when you submit such information for a specific purpose. For example, when you request to be contacted by a Jasper Wireless representative, we ask for your and your company name, email address, physical address and telephone number and certain other limited information about your company. Jasper Wireless also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address and the page you requested. Jasper Wireless routinely collects information that cannot be identified to a particular individual such as time-stamps and logs events.

When Jasper collects PII, we do so in order to customize the content you see, to improve and optimize our products and services, and to contact you regarding certain aspects of services.

The Jasper Wireless Site does not collect cookies at this time.

E-mail Communications

We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Jasper Wireless if your computer supports this type of program. We may also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please notify us by e-mail at unsubscribe@jasperwireless.com. Please note that if you do not want to receive legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Company Web site, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes.

Our Web site may contain links to sites operated by third parties that we think may be of interest to you. When you leave our Web site, our policies, including this privacy policy, no longer govern. Jasper Wireless is not responsible for the actions of those parties, the content of their Web Site, use of information you provide to them, or any products or services they may offer. Retention and Relevance

Jasper Wireless retains the PII that it collects only for the period of time such information is required to achieve the purposes set forth above. Generally, the retention period, will not be greater than one year after you cease to be an active prospect or customer depending on the purpose and any regulatory or audit requirements (e.g. financial records may be retained for a longer period to satisfy audit requirements). However, please note that some information may remain in our archives even after your information is deleted from our active records.

Jasper Wireless uses and retains only your PII which is directly relevant to the purpose for which it is collected. This information is retained as you provide it but will be updated when you notify us of changes in accordance with our policies in order to maintain its accuracy.

Is PII secure?

We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software to protect the security of your Personal Information during transmission. This software encrypts all of the information you input.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Jasper Wireless will not sell or rent your PII to anyone. Jasper Wireless will share PII about you to other companies or people only when we have your consent, or:

We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Jasper Wireless to provide a Jasper Wireless product or service or to otherwise assist Jasper Wireless with its business activities. (Unless we tell you otherwise, these companies do not have any right to use or disclose the PII we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us);
We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process;
We believe that your actions may violate, or we need to enforce or apply, our terms of use and other agreements; in order protect the rights, property, or safety of Jasper, our employees, our customers, or others (this includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction); or
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if Jasper Wireless or substantially all of its assets were acquired, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Jasper Wireless may continue to use your PII as set forth in this policy.

PII Edits, Corrections or Erasures

You have the ability to direct Jasper Wireless to edit, correct or erase your PII, at any time. To request such account maintenance, send your email request to privacy@jasperwireless.com. You may also indicate that you do not wish to receive messages from Jasper Wireless regarding our services or update your information relating to such messages at unsubscribe@jasperwireless.com. Following your request for either type of data editing, your information will be changed in Jasper Wireless’s data bases after we receive the information necessary to process your request.

What Choices do I Have?

You can always opt not to disclose information to use, even though it may be needed to take advantage of certain Jasper Wireless features

You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the “PII Edits, Corrections or Erasures” section above. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records

As explained earlier, the majority of browsers allow you to monitor and restrict our use of cookies. Please note, however, that if do not cookies, you will not be able to take advantage of some of our attractive features.
